The Good Men – Give It Up (2011 Edit)
We used to call ourselves The Good Men, and in early 1992 we made Give It Up.
Back then our studio was very basic. In fact it was a bedroom with nothing more than a bed and a few pieces of gear. For example our mixer was a dusty Boss BX 8 mixer with only a few channels and bass & treble knobs.
Mastiksoul & Gregor Salto – Toca Bunda (Chocolate Puma Remix)
Hi guys & girls, here’s a new remix we did for Mastiksoul & Gregor Salto‘s massive ‘Toca Bunda’. During our tour in Portugal we were told what ‘bunda‘ means, so we added some bunda shaking bass, thumping kick drums and whooshing stuff. Out now on 4kenzo records @ beatport.

Nouveau Yorican – Chiuso (Chocolate Puma Remix)
Late last year, the original mix of Chiuso marked the joining of Laidback Luke and Gina Turner in a orgy of creative production, the result of which was Chiuso; a really awesome latin inspired house track.
Now, Defected asked us to give our interpretation of Chiuso. Of course we said yes. So we worked our butts of and made some banging beats you can dance to with lots of stuff thrown on top! And horns.

The BeatThiefs – Umbungo (Chocolate Puma Remix)
We made a remix for The Beatthiefs – Umbungo. As you can see it went down quite well when we dropped it at the Defected In The House ADE party.
This is what those lovely folks at Big & Dirty Records had to say about its:
“Umbungo is the latest offering from rising stars The BeatThiefs. This energetic tech house monster already killed dancefloors during ADE where it got its first road tests. For more dancefloor damage head over to the Chocolate Puma remix who have delivered probably one of their best remixes in a while. Known for delivering top class production, Chocolate Puma recreated Umbungo into a fierce house meets tribal monster. Big stuff!”
We do apologize for any harm done to the dancefloors.
Releasedate: December 6th, 2010, exclusively on Beatport.

Chocolate Puma Featuring Colonel Red – Back Home
We’re very proud to present you our new single, Back Home. It’s a stomping kinda old school House Jam, with lyrics about bridges and stuff, totally aimed for the dance floor.
It features the vocals of Colonel Red, an amazing soul singer, who you might know from his Sweet Liberation album and his own Ruff Language label.
We think it’s awesome that Red is also working with us now, as he has a unique voice and is a nice chap, and we really have a great connection in the studio. So expect a lot more from us three in the future.
The artwork for the sleeve is also something we’re very proud of. Drawn by multi-talented Marc Sokpolie, it’s a result of many brainstorm session at the choco labs, which resulted in a series of illustrations that will feature on our records sleeves and other Chocolate Puma outings.
Out on Defected: 3/05/2010
D.H.S. Vs. Brahms & Klement Bonelli – House Of Los Chicanos (KG Vs. Chocolate Puma Bootleg)
One track that has been a firm favourite in our sets is ‘House Of Los Chicanos’. We mashed up Koen ‘KG’ Groeneveld’s bootleg of ‘D.H.S. – House Of God’, and ‘Brahms & Klement Bonelli – Los Chicanos’, which resulted in this peaktime latin tech stomper.
You can check it below, as we made this video edit of a certain 1990’s cult movie. Can you guess which one?
Also featured on Defected In The House Amsterdam ’09.
Solarianism
Coming up on Defected is ‘Solarianism’, a nice vocal house track we did together with Baggi Begovic and Mitch Crown. Included are the Main Mix, Baggi’s Deep In Rotterdam Mix, and a banging Chocolate Puma Dub. The Main Mix was also featured on our Defected In The House Amsterdam 09 compilation.
Release date: Soon!
In the meantime, check out this video for the Chocolate Puma Dub:
