To kick off the new year, Beatport has compiled a list of artists they believe are destined for big things in 2010. All of these rising stars have gained numerous ‘My Beatport’ subscribers in 2009.
Among those artists are the amazing Bingo Players and two blokes who go by the name of Chocolate Puma.

Rising Stars For 2010

Disco Electrique is currently the biggest track on our dancefloors, causing an instant crowd response everywhere we play it. Today it will be released on all major download portals, like beatport, traxsource and juno.

“The Dutch supergroup’s Touch Me wasn’t only Strictly’s biggest selling download of 2008, it also catapulted Bingo Players into the spotlight and rejuvenated the career of the many faceted Chocolate Puma boys. “Battling for our attention was Dutch super-duo, and kick ass DJs in their own right, Chocolate Puma. Dropping fresh new remixes that even Mr. Dunmore hadn’t heard, the Pumas were as sweet and tasty as their name implies. Jacking drums, uber cool vocals, and fresh choons their set definitely made us upset that A) they weren’t in the main room and B) they were on directly opposite Roog! But if their awesomeness is any indication we won’t have to wait for those issues to be rectified next year!”

Morning Rain EP sneaked into Traxsource’s top 10, while our friends Bingo Players climbed to #2 in the Beatport sales chart with their track ‘Chop’.
Also we provided Beatport with a fresh top 10 of tunes we like at the moment.
